The Altered File Folder Lapbook Journal vol.2

Greetings greetings my lovelies! And I am back with another blog post! lol. I am working on an altered file folder lapbook journal…putting the finishing touches on and such like…This one measures 6×8 inches with a 1 inch spine. It folds out to 17 inches, with lots of flips and tucks.

These are created using the waterfall hinge technique. It is a little lapbook folio, writing journal. There are 6 waterfall pages filled with pockets, tucks and tags. If this one is yours it is in my store or by invoice—

I painted the trim with a nice gold metallic acrylic which gives it a rich shine and glow of elegance that I love. The closure is a jewel brad circled with black elastic for easy access. This one is big enough to keep all your thoughts, recipes, letters, cards and such, yet small enough to fit your purse or carry on bag. I simply love the way it came out.

The Back Cover

I put a lot of work into this one, not only with the papers but the cover is made of quality strength file folders. I added the tyvek all the way through and painted the edges for added strength and sealing effect. I am very happy with the finished result and I am sure the new owner will be as well.

I stuffed this one with some really cute tags and post cards. And left a lot of room to write on my ebony paper collections. The images are stunning and really give this folio the feel of old world Victorian elegance and beauty.

I used my ebony letters paper collection in this one, along with some other papers in the ebony vintage collection. I added a few other papers as well. I love the warmness of these papers. How elegant they look. Very stunning indeed.

I used the Ebony Letters Journal kit 2-

There is a rich energy of healing within these papers and it shows throughout this journal.

You can work in it laid flat or fold it, this one is not only elegant and regal, but it is very versatile.
